The prosecutor is addding the Habitual Substance abuser enhancement because I have had 2 other DUI convictions. We tried to plead but she insists on 1 yr for the DUI and 5 yrs for the enhancement and that is non suspendable! I live in Illinois now and am considering not going to court. Any Advice??
I will lose my livelihood if I go back. What if I get myself in a position to go back sometime in the futur and face my consequences? Are any of you lawyers or have had experience with this? Thanks
Does anyone know what the odds of them filing an extradition warrant is?

I went to the Mothers against drunk driving victim impact panel a year ago after my Wet and Wreckless (lesser DUI charge) and moved away from California for a year. I just moved back to CA and the court said I didnt go and there is a warrant for my arrest. What is the penalty going to be for this? I dont have proof I went and its me against the court. Any one know?
I did the court classes and meetings it was just a panel meeting for Mothers againts drunk driving that they said I didnt do. They gave me a paper to send in and I sent it. I didnt hear anything from them for over a year. It wasnt until I contacted them that I found out.

My aunt's boyfriend has previous DUI but he has missed his classes excessively so he can drink again he got himself into more trouble with the acciden that happend on Friday night he was drving on suspended license and injured the other party there wer witnesses that saw him what can he do now? and can the police get a warrant to arrest him now?

It's my friends first driving while intoxicated offense. His blood alcohol level was .18 and he lives in California. Is a warrant issued for his arrest? Would he be better off turning himself in?
