My sister-in-law was recently sentenced to 12 months probation in Georgia for a DUI guilty plea. She is concerned as to what type of probation to expect.Supervised or unsupervised. Also she had smoked marijuana but stopped about two months ago. Will she be drug tested when she reports to her probation officer next week. Thanks in advance for any advice.

The situation is this:
I received a Minor DUI in WA state which is defined as:
- Driver under 21 with BAC over .02 and under .08 (which is classified as a misdemeanor)
I've moved to Texas since that mistake and am looking to get a Texas license.. The incident incurred a 90-day license suspension period in WA, which is already up. How does this play out?
Will I be eligible here in Texas?
Do I need to have an SR-22? My insurance company hasn't yet gotten wind of the infraction so I'm still insured normally, will the Texas DPS notify my insurance company?
If it were possible I'd like to just apply as a brand new applicant, like I've never had a license, but looking over the application where they ask if you've had a license in another state, short of lying (which is a felony i think), it doesn't seem that will be possible. I assume that they run checks on your name or social security number in other states?
What other things should I know and/or consider?
Thanks in advance for any and all help and information.

Thanks in advance.
This sounds terrible but i do not yet have my licenes but i drive very well, i must drive to get back and for to work for my daughter, please no critsism, i do have a schedualed test coming up. But my main concern, will they ask for my licence? if so can i say i left it at home with out them running my plates?
i have no intention to drive drunk, and it would be way more than 5 bucks for me to get home in a cab, try 45 to 50 if i'm lucky, i live 30 mins from my job. I'm not even going to be out that late anyway. Here in Ohio its a Ticket for driving without a licence. You won't get your car impounded. Well thats what i've heard. If any Ohio cop is on here that would be a nice thing to know for sure as well

I understand if i am on probation that they will. But i'm wondering if they will drug test me before the actual trial or sometime during the pretrial conference or even right after the conference. I am not out on pretrial release but out on bail. I'd prefer an answer from someone with this experience or from someone who has knowledge of the justice system. Thanks in advance.
