My brother will be 21 later this year. He has two previous charges of possession of marijuana (one was while in care and control of a vehicle) which were both let off. He has recently been charged with both a DUI and impaired charged. Also, with those charges, he has fleeing the scene of an accident, and harassing an officer. He was seriously hurt, but refused EMT. There was one witness who is testifying that he should get charged a maximum penalty. His only defense is that when they arrested him from his girlfriends house, his mom did not give permission for the cops to go into his house. What do you think he is going to get in terms of punishment?

possession of marijuana, dui, possession of paraphernalia..Left police station have no idea what the court date is or what the charges will be. in St. Louis, MO..
possision of marijuana, possesion of perafanila, dui..this has happened on Saturday night. He signed the tickets and he did not receive a court date or charges before he left the police station..Should he just wait until the lab work gets done before he calls about the court date?

I'm in the military and i was out drinking, and my buddy was smoking pot. So my question is: Is it better to receive a possession of marijuana charge or a DUI + MIP?

Hi i am currently on probation in Wyandotte, and Ann Arbor. In Wyandotte my charge is Possession of Marijuana,and in Ann Arbor my charge is Use of Marijuana. I recently received my second DUI. I blew a .19 and was going 59 in a 35. My ticket only shows the speeding charge but under the part where it says BAC it says .19. I am assuming i am being charged with a second DUI but it doesnt say it on the ticket, my court date is December 30th. They took the license plate off my car and i recieved a letter saying i have 30 days to forfeit my vechicle. Is my second DUI a felony??? What happens if i dont forfeit my car?? Am i going to go to jail??? How long until my probation officers find out?? HELP!

So I have had a rocky past. I had a possession of marijuana charge when I was 16. I was into a lot of drugs when I was younger, but thats the only offense and it may have been dropped. I had an underage DUI when I was 19 and that was dismissed also, but shows up as being dismissed on my record still. I also had a misdeameanor petty theft when I was 19 and I had that expunged off my record about 3 years ago. For the last 6 years I have stayed out of trouble and been taking pre-med and nursing classes carrying a high GPA.. I really want to attend the police academy, but all the talk of polygraph tests and the fact that its already challenging to get a job scares me. Although my record is clean now (had it checked through FBI fingerprint)...I'm afraid I may be looked down upon when it comes time to get a job. What do you all think?

I am on probation for one year for possession of marijuana. I only have 3 months left and i failed my urine test and then 2 days later i got arrested for dui what will my sentence be?
I am getting a lawyer with a lawyer will i still serve the same amt of jail time?

I recieved a DUI a few weeks ago, still waiting for the court to send me a court date. I was driving drunk and high, the girl I was with had to take a piss... pulled into burger king.. she went behind the dumpster... I had pulled next to an undercover cop.. cop got out, long story short I took a sobriety test... stayed the night in jail.

Whats bound to happen to me.. the only thing I'm really concerned about is jail time. Based on the cirumstances, did the cop have the right to do what he did? How much for a first DUI... DUI with possession of marijuana. Should I get an attorney? Whats probation like... how can I pass these urine tests that they may make me take.

I'm 18 years old.

Also, it would be a lot of help if you could give me some additional information about stuff pertaining to this situation.

In June of 2008 I was pulled over and my car was searched and marijuana was found. I never received a court date. In November of 2008 I received a DUI with possession of marijuana. For that I was sentenced to 30 days in jail and 2 years of supervised probation. It is now May 2009 and I have just received a court summons for possession in June 2008. Since my DUI I have completed a 26-week drug and alcohol abuse program and have never had a dirty urinalysis for my probation officer. Since this is my second offense, yet I have completed a drug and alcohol abuse program and abstained from drug use for probation, what do you think the outcome of my trial will be?
I know I am guilty and will most likely plead guilty, but what could my sentence be?
My first offense was for 1.5 grams and my second is for .5 grams.

My friend recently went on probation for possession of marijuana(misdemeanor) poss of alcohol under 21(misde) petit theft (misdemeanor) and just got a DUI yesterday, soo that being said how much time mah nigga gon get?
