Folks, I'm just asking a question here. Don't assume it's me or anyone I know...I don't drink to begin with and would not even consider evasion!!!!!!!!!!! This is just a question....

Does a misdemeanor charge prevent gun permit renewal in Georgia?

Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana and DUI marijuana (it was a set-up). I am a business owner and carry a handgun. The police and Court officers say it doesn't effect my permit. (I'd like an intelligent answer) The carry permit is up for renewal. Will the above convictions prevent the renewal of a Georgia Firearms carry permit? Just wanna know before I re-apply

California DUI Conviction ?

If I was convicted in California for a DUI in a Traffic Court. How should I answer this questions? "Have you ever been convicted of a misdemeanor or felony by a criminal or military court?"

Even though an OWI (DUI) is a non-criminal offense in WI, could I still be barred from Canada?

It wouldn't be on my criminal record, but it's on my driving record for 55 years.

WI is the only state that does not classify a first-offense as a misdemeanor.
O.W.I., acronym for Operating While Intoxicated
Separate letters lol

What do think is worse to have on record (DUI or Drug Possession), curious on societies views and opinions?

Obviously neither is best, but what do you think is viewed more harshly, or if you had to have one on record what would think would be the best long term, short term, or whatever, Especially concerning job prospects and career opportunity. And to level playing field a little, a misdemeanor marijuana charge, not like meth or anything.

I got a DUI almost a year ago. Does it count as a “serious misdemeanor” for job applications?

How do I find out what degree of a misdemeanor it is? I'm from California and it was a first time offense. I'm also under 21. I'm applying for jobs and I know it's a pretty immediate setback to check the box that says I have commited a serious misdemeanor, so I was wondering if I really had to.

Why don’t I have to check the “convicted in the last 5 years” box on a job app when I had a DUI conviction?

I had a DUI a few years ago and served my time, community service, etc. The lawyer told me that the matter was closed and I wouldn't have to report it to employers; why not? I know it was a misdemeanor but I thought a conviction was a conviction. Why is this different?

I got a DUI last week, I want to joing the Air force and straighten my life up. Can I with a 1st offense DUI?

Can I joing the air force, my BAC was .12 and considered HIGH BAC, but not HIGHEST BAC and not GENERAL IMPAIRMENT, which is .08 in Pennsylvania.

By the way, it was not accident related. So it will only be a misdemeanor and not a felony.

Is a DUI/DWI charge considered a criminal offense or a traffic offense?

In the State of Maryland is a DUI/DWI charge considered a Traffic Misdemeanor or a Criminal Misdeameanor?

Also when in the State of Maryland is a DUI case considered a Felonly?

Effect of a DUI if i want to teach overseas?

Some countries now have criminal background checks for people who wish to teach English overseas. Will a misdemeanor DUI be a problem for someone who wants to get a visa to teach in Asia?
