I got these on my record 7 years ago for the dui's and 5 years ago for the marijuana. is it possible to get these lowered to a lesser crime and/or get them removed from my record so that i can join the military? OR is my shot to get in just done regardless of weather or not i get them removed?

I have a BA now and my life has completely changed since then so don't reply with dumb comments - please =)

My boyfriend does drugs.
He use to be an alcoholic. He started drinking when he was 13 and stopped when he was 21 because he got a DUI. Should I tell his parents about his drug marijuana problem it seems like its getting too much out of control.
He is 23 and he goes to grad school.

I was arrested back in September 09 all my medication had been ceased when i got all taken to jail i was charged for transportation possession and a DUI of mj but all my charges were dropped in February 10 i called the narcotics officer at the police station to get my stuff back and he said he wont give me my marijuana back until i get a court order. He is being so difficult why does he have to be so complicated?

Got a DUI a few weeks back. I blew a .083 which is only .03 over the limit. However they were under the impression that I was using marijuana, I had not been that day. They gave me a drug test and I will probably fail because i did smoke like four days straight a few days before. I know if I fail I will not be eligible for a work permit to drive on but do you know any extra consequences I may be facing? Thanks!
Ok first answer I know for a fact just for a regular DUI here in the state of GA you lose your license for 4 months but thank you for answering. I am expecting it to be worse than that but hey if that is right I would be very happy!

Is a ( ARMY) waiver needed for arrests or convictions only? My brother was arrested for marijuana & DUI in 1999. He never went to court and was never charged but was arrested. He went to DUI school to remove points off his driver's license in 1999. Will Army require a waiver even though he was never convicted? This arrest doesn't show up on the state criminal background check. Will it show up on a FBI background check? Does the ARMY disqualify for arrests or convictions?Thank You

In August of 2001 i was 19 yrs old and pulled over and arrested for dui, simple poss of marijuana, and sched something drug poss....I am honest i was drunk and high on pot but the pill capsules they susposevly found must have been dropped by one of other arrestys in my car there were 3 of us i don't or never have done pills anyway, I was taken to drunk tank where i spent night went before judge next day and plead guilty to simple poss of marijuana , dui was dropped, and charged with poss of controlled substance..it was pain pill capsules so whatever controlled substance that is but it will be 9 yrs since and only other trouble i have is a DUI in 2003 which was dropped to reckless driving because i blew .10 on july 3 of 2003 legal limit went from .10 to .08 July 1 of 2003 so cop helped me out in court but anyhow i cant get the 2001 charges expunged cause of guilty plea and i want to be a police officer so bad i have had no trouble at all since 2003 and i went into marine corps July 2009 after boot camp was promoted to pfc then was honor graduate of my mos school and was promoted meritoriously to lance corporal i have all doc of this so with this, im currently in marine corps reserves , bad record long time ago and good record now would a sheriff hire me here in Tennessee and what are odds if i just sit down with both good and bad paperwork i could be a police officer and serve my community.

Got arrested for a dui. I blew .083 which is only .03 over. They were also under the impression that I was using marijuana. I was not using that day. I was given a urine test at the precinct. If that result comes back positive I will not be given a work permit to drive. I will probably fail that test. My question is that my arraignment will be 07/09, if I just plead guilty for the dui then do you think they will skip the drug test results so I will still be eligible for a work permit drivers license?
I live in Ga if that matters. Also I was pulled over for cutting through a parking lot where it was posted not too. I was not citated for that.
The officer told me the results will not be in for 5 months. Also it does matter iif you got citated alot of times when referring to motion of discovery this is to the guy who was saying im not smart. Obviously I have made a bad decision but I do not think all people who drink two drinks and drive are stupid. Happens to people all the time. Also in my eyes I do not think that use of marijuanna in your own home makes you a stupid or bad person either.

i mean would they have me serve my probation then when it is over leave? i am on probation for possession and intent to distribute marijuana, i failed two drug tests and have just gotton a dui.

i just wanna know if they will test for drugs along with alcohol and whether or not marijuana will show up if i have smoked it in the past 30 days but not that night or day

My daughter got a DUI in January and since we cant afford an attorney I need to know what shes looking at if convicted or how should she plea. Shes never been in any sort of trouble and was under the influence of marijuana when she got stopped. I live in Texas and cant do much from here except from my computer. Can anyone give me some guidance or someone I can call that can help? I dont have the money for an attorney and need to work fast because she didnt want to worry me and just told me last nite and her court is in 1 week on 4/29.
