A formal hearing was held on the license suspension and my lawyer won, eliminating the license suspension. I've also avoided criminal convictions and the associated suspension. Will my insurance still be affected?

The situation is this:

I received a Minor DUI in WA state which is defined as:
- Driver under 21 with BAC over .02 and under .08 (which is classified as a misdemeanor)

I've moved to Texas since that mistake and am looking to get a Texas license.. The incident incurred a 90-day license suspension period in WA, which is already up. How does this play out?

Will I be eligible here in Texas?

Do I need to have an SR-22? My insurance company hasn't yet gotten wind of the infraction so I'm still insured normally, will the Texas DPS notify my insurance company?

If it were possible I'd like to just apply as a brand new applicant, like I've never had a license, but looking over the application where they ask if you've had a license in another state, short of lying (which is a felony i think), it doesn't seem that will be possible. I assume that they run checks on your name or social security number in other states?

What other things should I know and/or consider?

I got a DUI on Nov. 5th...went to court in Clinton County, Ohio on the 8th and waived my right to an attorney and just plead guilty so I could just get my punishment over with. The judge sentenced me to 90 days in jail, fines, and license suspension...everyone else there for a DUI plead not guilty after they saw me get sentenced to that. After everyone left the room, he told me that he would give me a chance to do a drivers intervention program and that it would count as 3 days toward the jail sentence and that I would return to court in March to review my sentence and my assessment through the DIP. He stayed (postponed) the sentence and fines until then. I got my license back a couple of weeks ago and i recently wrecked my car when it was all snowy out and got a failure to control citation...this is a basic traffic violation. What is the likelihood of me receiving jail time?

My husband got his first ever DUI in Kentucky and registered a .099 BAC. He has never been in any trouble before and was released on "personal regognizance". I was wondering if there is mandatory jail time and what the fine is? I am pretty sure the license suspension is 30 - 120 days.
