Or if I hire an attorney in my area will he/she charge more for whatever travel time they may have to do… I’m afraid the local attorneys will be in cahoots with the local judge and law enforcement.

Can a person work in the criminal justice field(corrections, parole, probation, attorney, or any law enforcement capacity) , if being convicted of a DUI & going on trial for murder but being found not guilty disqualifies them from being a police officer?

Any good ideas for DUI law reform, to more strongly motivate drunk drivers into serious personal change?

My nephew is seriously alcoholic and refuses to enter rehab or attend AA. He’s wrecked 4 cars (flipped 2) but (thank God) never seriously injured self or others.
