The DUI was 9 years ago and have had a clean record since.

I hear this more and more. That if you have a DUI then you can’t be police officer. It really kills me. I got a DUI when I was 20.. I’m 22 now and major in Law Enforcement. I still have about a year and a half to go. Am I a fool to think I can be a police officer with my record?

The DUI happened in Arizona and the car was impounded for the mandatory thirty days. The only thing the other registered owner did was co-sign the loan. They aren’t on the insurance or anything like that. Will they be notified simply because they are listed as one of the registered owners of the car?

A friend was arrested for that and the officer did not adminster the breathalyzer or any other tests, like one would get for a DUI. She had to spend 2 hrs in jail, and then released. And will she have a fine and have to do community service, attend classes, or even serve more jail time? And if required by law that she should have had those tests done, will the case be dismissed ?

i live in ky and have my licensed suspended for one year for DUI(2nd). Can i get a hardship license or get a breathalyzer installed on my vehicle during the suspension?

I have 0 tickets in my lifetime, I am a 25 year old man that made a terrible decision two years back and now have a DUI. I am looking for a car insurance company that has low rates because most major companies will not cover me. The lowest I have found so far is AIS followed by esurance. I live in California. Any ideas?

I have a bad driving record that includes a DUI and driving with a suspended. I am looking for some way of getting reasonable priced auto insurance in Florida. I went to Geico and they want to charge me around 0 a month! Also what is an SR-22?

Any help would be great. Thanks.

I got a DUI in Ca and want to move to NY but I am wondering if my record will be cleaned up when I move there. I need some serious information. please dont answer yes or no..

My friend’s ex-wife got pulled over last week and was charged with both a DUI AND a DUI per sey.. I’m wondering the difference. I can’t ask her, since I don’t communicate with her anymore, and I have not been able to find anything on "google" or in the bowels of my local law enforcement’ websites. Knowing what "per sey" means, it seems like you can’t have both
My bad…. per se, not per sey…

I just bought SR-22 liability car insurance yesterday for 5 which covers the first month. It was needed in order for me to get my license reinstated after a DUI. So i go to the DMV with my proof of insurance hoping to get my license back but find that my license is suspended still(for another 3 months). So now i have no use for the insurance that i just bought. Will i be able to get my money back?
