I got a DUI in California last year and it was my first offense. I was ordered to pay fines, complete the DUI classes, go to AA, go to MADD meetings, and complete community service. I totally screwed up and forgot to do my community service by the deadline. Now I just got a letter saying that my probation was revoked and I have to go to court this month for a probation violation hearing.
Anyone know what the consequences of this could be?
Will I go to jail?
Will they give me a chance to make it up?

My roommate is 19, no priors with a clean background but got a DUI in California (Los Angeles County). His B.A.C. was 0.15 which is ridiculous for someone under 21 years of age considering he shouldn't of had any alcohol in his system... I'm sure he will get his license suspended but for how long? Will he get probation as well? What Punishments does an UNDERAGE DUI receive in California?

Got convicted of a DUI In California and I already registerd for the Traffic School ( DUI and Traffic Safety) It will be a month on January 31, 2008 and Court was on Dec 28 (31 I went 3 days earlier). The Judge did nothing to my License but the DMV suspended me for four months....
I Also aready have an SR22.

Does anyone know the usual punishment for a first offense DUI in California? He was well over the legal limit, but not speeding or any other traffic offense, didn't hit anyone or anything, didn't refuse to do a breathalyser and admitted he had been drinking, and also he has never been arrested before. Any idea what might happen? Thank you.

I recently got a DUI in California (I agree I was extremely stupid - no debating that). My court date is set for the 23rd of Feb. I guess it was the worst timing since my company is laying off a whole bunch of people and I might be one. I have an opportunity to work in Houston, TX - my question is can I finish my DUI classes in TX and can I get a TX license after that? Thank you so much for your help.
I currently live and work in California - will need to move ASAP to TX for work(do not have time to finish the DUI class here in California)
