I was charged with a DUI in March 2006. Because I refused any tests, I lost my drivers license for what ended up being about 9 months total. The criminal charges were dismissed however. I realize my driving record is separate from my criminal record, and that regardless of my clean criminal record, my driving record does indeed still show the DUI arrest. I am just unable to figure out when (if ever) that will not show up on my driving record.

Why does my DUI arrest not appear in public records?

I had a DUI arrest in 2004 when I was visiting Chicago, IL. There was no conviction, only a court supervision. This was the one and only incident. I was mortally afraid that this information was going to keep me from getting a job in the future. However, I have since changed three jobs that involved background checks and it never once appeared anywhere. Nor did my insurance company ever find out. What could be the reason?. PS- I have never actually lived in IL state and never held an IL driver license.

DUI Arrest Suspect?

I was driving on a busy Southern California city where me and my friend were driving next to a suspected drunk driver. He almost hit us and as a result I kept a safe distance behind him. He almost hit another car as he was weaving in and out of lanes. He then drove on top of a grass median causing damage to the median. My friend and I followed him until he gunned it to about 90mph. We caught up to him after he had stopped in the middle of the street. He then made a U-Turn and we again followed him until he pulled into his drive way. We were on the phone with 911 practically the whole time giving all the info. We were no longer at the scene when police called me to ID the man. My friend and I identified the man. Police told me that they could only do a DUI arrest only after we identified the man. Police confirmed the damage done to the median. Finally my question, can I face any legal problems? I know i might have to go to court if this guy fights the case.
I have a paranoid buddy who told me I should have minded my own business. All I have to say is that I felt good afterward, thank God no one was injured or killed, Ill do it again, and this guy will think twice about doing it again.

I live in Marin County, CA. Is there a way to find out on the internet when I had my last DUI arrest?

I was wondering if there is a web site I can go to in order to find out the date of my last DUI arrest. Something that maybe I could enter in my social security number and it would tell me the date of my last arrest. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What are the benefits to getting a DUI attorney if your BAC is beyond a level where the courts will reduce?

I have a friend that is contemplating whether to get an attorney or not for a recent DUI arrest. He lives in Las Vegas and it's his first but his concern is wasting money on an attorney if there is little chance of getting it reduced.

Also a point that might be worth mentioning, when he was pulled over, he requested a seargant come to the scene and was denied the request. Is there any merit to this and does he have any recourse if he does pursue with an attorney?
