Last month I got pulled over for a DUI in Los Gatos, CA. I smoked marijuana earlier in the day and am wondering if I will be getting another charge added onto the alcohol related DUI. The cops took my blood and I just want to know if they were testing for every drug out there or only verifying my BAC? I was not stoned at the time when I was pulled over, but I definetly did have it in my blood still. Please, only serious answers only.

im curious to know, if someone gets pulled over for a dui which is criminal obviously, is the passenger or passengers in the car considered witnesses? Do the cops have to get their information too just in case they need to testify for or against the defendant? By the way it's in Florida that im talking about. Thanx!!

the cop stopped me when my car was parked and he asked me if i was high on anything after talking for like 3 minutes and i said "not really, i had 3 hits like 10 minutes ago" and drove here wich is 3 - 4 min away so i dont gotta deal with ppl. what do cops have to do in order to take you to jail for a DUI?

My bf was arrested last night for a DUI in California, and his family and friends won't bail him out and refuse to let me help him! How long can the cops hold him??

I did NOT take the sobriety test. I told the officer I would not do anything without my lawyer.

I dont know if that was a smart move or not, but i know I wouldn't of passed the test.

What are my options looking like?

the accidet was i went over the curb and across a few lanes on the other side of the road. the cops gave me a road test which i didnt pass too well, didnt fall or anything. i told the police i did have a few drinks. someone saw the me go across the lanes, it wasnt that i was pulled over randomly or anything like that. and when the police showed up i was even driving i was just sitting in the parking spaces i stopped in.

for those who think of me as a bad person, i do understand and respect that. i did make a mistake and yes im thankful to god that nobody got hurt and myself second. but i just think about who i could of hurt, or hit another car. it was 2 in the a.m and i was coming home from the bar. did make a mistak i do admit. but im hoping for some leinency, because i am human. i do make mistakes, but i do learn from them. i am a very respectful person, i work hard and just was out on a tuesday night because i cant go out any other nightreally because of work and such other obligations. im not asking forcriticism i am a very hard person on myself and expect great things from me. this is just abump in the road and i do apologize to everyone once again.
