I realized today after taking the taxi for the first time that the fare was , and I therefore would be paying 00 to the taxi company when all is said and done! I don't have that kind of money! In addition, the taxi company said that they can not guarantee that a taxi would be there for me at the exact time I need them- they only do that for flights and similar situations.

My question is...should I call probation and tell them the problem? I have a receipt from the taxi ride. Also, if I take the bus, I can guarantee that I will be home when I'm supposed to.

Again, I understand that I must suffer the consequences of my actions, but this will kill me financially. Is it worth me calling them or not?
There is no court order...but I had to do community service about a week ago. We were all let out an hour early, and the supervisor told us not to go home for at least an hour so that the bracelet would not register that we were home- resulting in him and everyone else getting in trouble. I ran to home depot and who did I see? One of the probation officers! Although we all waited to go home, I was the one who got caught, and therefore the trust factor has been largely diminished. Bottom line is, I will certainly not risk going to any other store or anywhere again, since I will loose everything if I do! But again, I also can't afford to pay for a taxi everyday!
