I had my brother listed as a driver on my insurance policy and he is moving so will no longer be using my car. The insurance company is requiring that I show proof of insurance before removing him from the policy. They are telling me there is no other way to remove him from the policy due to a DUI charge. Is it even possible to get car insurance without a car? What should I do?
I have been in contact again with the insurance company and here is what they wrote back "The only proof we can accept to remove youthful driver’s is Proof of
Other Insurance." What is the age limit on a youthful driver? My brohter is 24.

Is a ( ARMY) waiver needed for arrests or convictions only? My brother was arrested for marijuana & DUI in 1999. He never went to court and was never charged but was arrested. He went to DUI school to remove points off his driver’s license in 1999. Will Army require a waiver even though he was never convicted? This arrest doesn’t show up on the state criminal background check. Will it show up on a FBI background check? Does the ARMY disqualify for arrests or convictions?Thank You

My boyfriend and I are planning to move to florida after he gets off probation for his dui here in michigan. since were moving to a nicer climate and gas prices keep going up and up, he wants to get a bike. Being that my mother is an ex ray tech and Im parinoid already having lost my brother, father and step father (rightfullly so i think) I dont want him to bc theyre dangerous! Im hoping the insurance rate for a 25 yr old male w a dui would stear him away from it consitering hes also going to have plpd on his car as well. Is there anyone around tampa, about 25, have have one and about how much do u pay? and if you have a dui thats even better lol

My brother in law and I were having a discussion regarding DUI. I said on all resumes that ask, you have to mention if you have ever had a DUI no matter how long ago. He says that you do not once it is off your record. Does it come off your record? After how long? Do you have to state it on your resume? Please let me know who is right?

My brother will be 21 later this year. He has two previous charges of possession of marijuana (one was while in care and control of a vehicle) which were both let off. He has recently been charged with both a DUI and impaired charged. Also, with those charges, he has fleeing the scene of an accident, and harassing an officer. He was seriously hurt, but refused EMT. There was one witness who is testifying that he should get charged a maximum penalty. His only defense is that when they arrested him from his girlfriends house, his mom did not give permission for the cops to go into his house. What do you think he is going to get in terms of punishment?

My brother in law is not too bright and he has 3 DUI’s and he went to court and they wanted to take him to jail for 10 months… So he posted bail… No what? He just gets away with it? He doesn’t have to go to jail?
and if he hires the BEST attorney that money can buy will he do and time in jail…

Can someone advise how the insurance company will handle this? Incident occured in California. Brother 24, does not have a DL, this will be the 2nd time he is caught driving without one. To make matters worse he totalled parents car & may have been driving under the influence of alcohol. This happend last night and we are on our way to visit him at the hospital. We understand the DUI laws have become tougher and we understand he may have to serve some jail time plus fines if he’s convicted of the DUI. My question is, will the insurance pay for the damages to the vehicle and or hospital bills. he doesnt have health insurance and was not listed as a driver in our parents policy (no DL). To my knowledge my parents did not let him borrow the car. My parents have full coverage and we are getting ready to call them to report the claim BUT can someone advice how they will handle this? we obviously want the insurance company to pay for the damages. any advice will be appreciated.

My mom and I bailed him out of jail last night (to the tune of 0) What happened was he didnt have a licence plate on the front of his car, so the cop pulled him over and asked to search his car, and in his guitar case he found a small baggie and a pipe. The officer also gave him a field sobriety test, but didnt tell my brother if he failed or passed. If he failed he would have gotten a DUI, right?
He was charged with a mistameanor for possesion of marijuana and a pipe. So what is going to happen to him now? Will he do jail time? Probation? Community Service?

FYI, I know drugs are illegal and he probably "deserved it" but he is still my brother and I love him and want to know what is going to happen to him, so spare me the "he shouldnt be doing drugs" lecture, I just want to know what is going to happen to my brother.

He’s 20 years old

At six O’ clock on saturday i went to my buddies house to hang out. When i got there two of my friends were there with a kid i dont even know and one of my friends was drinking a little, my other friends left to go see a movie and me and my one firend who had been drinking stayed and dropped a few. I Drank a lot of alcohol. (BAC = .287) when i was arrested. around 10 O’clock i woke up from being passed out by then my buddies dad was on his way home and his older brother was home and his older bro. friend was there. there was a knock at the door upstairs. It was two Idaho falls policeman we let them in i was in the bathroom throwing up. i was donwstairs they were upstairs, they asked to see me. so wheni was walking upstairs my buddies friend told me to not get him in trouble.( he DID NOT buy us the alcohol. they questioned me and asked me if i had driven here while dirnking i said: No he then said did you travel with the alcohol in your car i said : Yes to keep my friend safe.
the alcohol was at my friends house they came off a of a juvenile party and im under age. the people who can testifie to this all were not drinking. they searched my vehicle and there was no alcohol in it.

Okay so my brother in law is an idiot…

He has 3 DUI’S one he just recently got last week. the first two was for having alcohol in his system and this recent one was for failing a blood test for marijuana.

I AM COMPLETELY AGAINST ANYONE WHO HAS HAD A DUI AND HAS PUT OTHERS LIVES IN DANGER….

I ask this because he is staying at my home and i dont want him there but my husband cant turn his back on his good for nothing brother. he is still smoking weed and his license were suspended and he is still driving around…

im not an evil B**** but i have children and if he cant change after his 3rd offense i dont want him near my kids or have those substances around my new home….
Basically i want to know what is his chances of going to prison….
