I have a car that I hold the insurance for and it is titled in my name too. My spouse drives it and because of bad credit, it is in my name. If he hurts someone drunk driving, will I get sued or in trouble?
Does a neg driving or a deferred prosecution for DUI prevent me from working in law enforcement?
What do you think An illegal alien from Mexico was arrested Sunday on a DUI complaint struck 5 year old child?
What excuse will the pro illegal have this one ?An illegal immigrant from Mexico was arrested Sunday on a DUI complaint after police say he struck a child with a car.
The 5-year-old boy reportedly was taken to a hospital in serious condition, but he has since improved, and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
Darbin Alejoz-Ramirez, 23, was arrested on complaints of driving under the influence and causing an injury collision, driving with no driver's license, having no proof of insurance and injury to a minor child. He told police that he is an illegal immigrant, so a hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement was placed on him at the Tulsa Jail.
Police said the child rode his bicycle from between two parked cars into the path of Alejoz-Ramirez's Chevrolet Blazer about 3 p.m. Sunday at the Colonial Park Apartments in the 7600 block of East 21st Street.
Alejoz-Ramirez smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes and failed portions of sobriety tests, an arrest report states. He agreed to a blood test and was taken to a hospital to have blood drawn.

how does a person get auto insurance without a drivers licence-i CANT get the licence w/out the insuranceHELP
i had a dui in 2002, finished the program long ago, and am just now, going to get my licence again, . but the problem is this: i cant get the licence w/out auto insurance, but when i tried to get the ins., they told me i need a drivers licence(current) to get it! HELLO!! I NEED the insurance TO GET the licence!! im frustrated, and irritated! can someone clue me in as to what to do??????
I was stopped for a DUI and refused the tests…what happens now?
I was stopped for suspected DUI and was taken to have a blood test done. While at the hospital, the officer told me to sign something. I told him they could take my blood but I didnt feel comfortable signing anything. He told me I had 2 choices
1. Sign and they take my blood and I go to jail
OR
2. Dont sign and I can go home
At the time, option 2 sounded like the best choice. Once we got back to the station he said by not signing I had admitted guilt and would lose my license. I asked to go back and I would take the test but was told no, I had no further options...I had my chance.
I guess my question now is:
Is there anything I can do to get out of it?
I know I made a mistake but shouldn't they advise me of the laws? Ignorance of the law is no excuse but it was as if he was purposely pushing me to make the wrong choice.
I got a DUI what will i have to do in order to get it off my record? what is going to happen to me?

how much do you pay a lawyer for this?
Can I get a job in NJ Law Enforcement with DUI on my record?
In NJ DUI is a traffic violation and not a criminal charge. So, it is only a violation on my driving record.
It happened 5 years ago and now I'm a student in college 23 years old. I was arrested one other time for possession of a real small amount of marijuana. I was young and irresponsible. I made mistakes just like everyone, but I got caught.
I've always had a passion for Law Enforcement, doing what is right, and bringing safety to the community. All my life I acted like a bit of a policeman and have great morals. I've learned that I was wrong and have considered a career in Law Enforcement since that is where my passion is. If all else fails I assume I could consider a career as a lawyer.
Do I have any chance getting a job as a patrolman?
FBI? Any other career in Law Enforcement? Any suggestions?
I'm trying to decide what major to take in college and I don't want to waste time majoring in criminal justice if I've already lost any chances.
All help is appreciated and thank you very much.
Can you drive on company business if you had a recent DUI/DWI?
Two part question:
1) Is there a chance you still qualify under the company's insurance policy?
2) Can you buy your own auto insurance as an alternate while traveling on company business?
I'm talking about getting a harships license (the one that allows you to drive for work, school, or livelihood). I would be using my own car to travel around the city to see different projects and attend meetings.
Hardship* license or restricted license.
why don't people stand up and say enough with the DUI shit?
they set the Limit so low one beer can wreck your life and cost thousand of dollars and they are making it worst with even more harder laws.
Does DUI have to be reported auto insurance?
One of my friends has been still paying the same insurance premium he paid before DUI. He is so happy with that, but he just concerns any possible problems with an insurance company in the future. Is it a responsibility to report DUI to an insurance company?
