About 5 months ago I was pulled over I had marijuana with me less than an ounce and open alcohol container and possesion of alcohol by a minor....well I wasnt drunk when I got pulled over but I still got to take DUI class why is that?? ...

It’s a money game for the state. U have to pay plus they get funds from the Feds to combat drunk driving. Its not about justice or rehab, its all about the money.
DUI = Driving Under the Influence.
Whether you were drunk or not, you were assumed to be under the influence of alcohol and/or marijuana. Go take your punishment like a man.
