Anyway, what will happen to him? He lives in NC if that makes a difference. & He's been arrested about 2 times before this, but they let him out the next day. just little things like shoplifting.
He’s already been arrested twice and is old enough to be prosecuted as an adult, so it does not look too good, particularly since his offenses keep getting more serious. Worse, or as bad as the DUI and drug possession charges, he was busted for throwing rocks at people (in every jurisdiction I know of this is an assault charge, and in some maybe even assault with a deadly weapon with intent to inflict bodily injury [which legally is not far removed from attempted murder]). And resisting arrest is always one of those charges that prosecutors and police insist on the offender serving some jail time for. He is going to be going away for awhile, at least for felonious assault (throwing rocks at people), as well as drug possession, resisting arrest, and DUI charge. Even if he pleads down, I wouldn’t count on seeing him for several months. Just one of those charges can land him in jail, all of them almost guaranteed, especially when those prior arrests are taken into account come punishment phase. And he is not going to be staying at any resort.
You may do well to find a new friend. Guys like this tend to rub off on people and not in a good way.
Forget him (what a winner) and worry about where your life is headed.
Probably nothing for the DUI. They tolerate that in the south; it’s a way of life.
Time to get some new friends, who needs a bunch of drama and shoplifting at 16, he doesn’t respect anything.
your friend is going to be going to jail for awhile. no two judges rule the same, so its hard to tell you exactly how long he’s going to be going for.
Since he’s a minor I would say a very stiff fine, loss of drivers license for a while, probation until he’s 18,
Those previous arrests are going to come back to haunt him now. DUI, a drug charge, and resisting arrest, with previous theft charges. Things aren’t looking good for him. I would say if they charge him as a minor he’ll get about 3-6months in jail with a year of probation after he’s let out. He won’t be driving for a long time and will most likely have insane legal fines.
I wouldn’t waste my time with this guy if I were you.
Since he is still a minor, most likely he will not have to do time in jail. He might be probation and community service, or have to go a enter for juveniles.
I love how you try to make it sound like it’s no big deal. And you think it’s funny to throw rocks at people.
Luckily your friend is in a world of trouble and it most likely looking at some time. And the thing is, this won’t be the last time this scumbag gets in trouble. And you think it’s cute.
Not enough will happen to him. He won’t be discouraged from escalating to more serious crimes so he’ll be back in jail again soon-enough.
Your attitude (haha, "little things like shoplifting") strongly suggests you’re likely joining him there.
Sounds serious. At best he will get probation. The other end of it, he will get a boy friend.
hmm…
the only thing i can tell you is too think carefully about continuing to associate yourself with him
sorry i cant help more and thanks for your answer =)
That sucks. Umm. I think the only REAl consequence would be something like he has to wait until he is 18 or something until he can get his driver’s license. But I’m not 100% on that
i saw your answer for that rap question and i disagree with you i agree that soulja boy and lots of rappers are horrable lyric makers but 2pac was real and spoke what he believed about having equal rights and that real rap i mean no disrespect but i do not listin to rap crap
I hope you got a good look at your friend the last time you saw him, because your not going to be seeing him while he’s in jail for the next couple of years.
