I have a question. 2 weeks ago I got a DUI (.16), possesion of .5 gram cocaine, resisting arrest,?

and possession of marijuana. Yesterday I got a DUI and driving with a revoked license. Both are in different counties in North Carolina. What can I expect
BTW...I am also diagnosed with depression, which is why i take the drugs. I have been seeking therapy for the past 2 years and i got off my meds when this happened
Also, my dad can get a really good lawyer...if that makes a difference

Tell Dad to start hiring! Of course that makes a difference.
You definitely need help – money for a lawyer but spending 2 years looking for therapy.
Dad should also hire a therapist who can help with this depression and understanding that excuses are no defense of the law. Unless you want to plead insanity and go to the mental hospital. Might as well you won’t be driving legally for YEARS! The drugs your taking were not recommended by a Dr.
It is so sad that Dr.’s prescribe medication for depression and people are not required to be in therapy where they would learn to deal.

You can expect a nice, cushy jail cell at the Prison near you.

And, no offense, but….if you got a DUI for twice the legal limit a WEEK ago, and you were STUPID enough to get another one yesterday….you should be locked up. Before you KILL someone.

you sentences will most likely run concurrently which is stacked. for the 2 dui’s and driving on revoked license you can expect a license revoke of minimum 1 year probably 1 year 6 months with all the red tape and about 2000$ in fines, and between 3-30 days in jail. for the marijuana if it’s a small amount and a misdemeanor 500$ fine and probably 30 days or less. the cocaine and resisting arrest is your big problem since the cocaine is a felony and most likely the resisting is as well. by them selves you’d probably get 30-90 days and 3-5 years probation, and maybe a mandatory drug treatment classes. i would say get a lawyer and make a plea deal for everything best case 90days jail and 3 years probation and 2000$ in fine worst case 12-18 months and 5 years probation after release and drug treatment awareness classes and license revoke for 1 year after any release date. along with the felony you’ll never be able to vote or own a gun legally. if your young and have no priors this is what i’d say your looking at, if you got priors it’s gonna be much worse. sorry, my advise get a lawyer and make the best plea you can and be sincere

Depression is a reason, but not a valid excuse. Except responsibility for your actions. Have you listened to your councilor or therapist? Dad can get you a good lawyer, are you a titty baby, get your own lawyer. A lawyer is not what you need, you need to accept responsibility and do your time, and then not bother to repeat your stupidity.
