I am being charge with DUI alcohol in one city and I am being charge with DUI marijuana in another city. I havent been to court yet for either one of these charges and I plan on going to trial so i can lesser charge. I want to know how will the state of california charge and punish me when these two crimes were committed in two seperate cities? What kind of punishment will I most likely recieve? Also, I am a father of two, A full time college student, and I work full time. I am a good person i just made very poor choices these past two months. Do you think the DA and the judge would show me some kind of lesser punishment without jail time since I am a hardworking Father and citizen?

Not to presume that you actually have a problem with drugs and alcohol, between now and then I would get into a program hopefully demonstrating to the court that you understand the consequences of your actions and are making moves to correct the behavior. This might demonstrate to the court your willingness to examine your behavior.
What will happen if you are convicted then you will receive jail time and a stiff fine for one or both of the offenses. You could be forced to participate in a drug/alcohol Program anyway.
Consider this a wake up call for the rest of your life, you have children who need your good example and support.
