I have a friend who got arrested for dui and possession of marijuana while visited The Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee Friday night. This is the first time he has ever been arrested for anything! He didnt even have enough marijuana on him to make a joint and he had a empty Wild Turkey bottle and a bottle of Captain Morgan Rum that had been opened. He took a breathalizer test and also a blood test. He spent 4 hours in the local jail that night before being released. Does anyone know what kind of punishment he will recieve when he goes to court? He will be going to the United States District Court.
