Yes you can as long as you have completed all court hearings. The point is as long as you have "done the time" then you can join. What I mean is if you have fines to pay or are on probation then you can join once everything is taken care of.
Wow! Is your brother a Marine recruiter? I think you should ask them. If they say yes join and leave asap. Maybe they can kick your ass and straighten you out like they did for me, that was 28 years ago when they still could kick your ass.

You can, depends on who your recruiter is though. If you get one of the goody two shoes types then he might turn you down. But if you get like those bad boy types then he would not include that when he writes you up a contract.
Yes, you can, but you need to be up front about it. They will probably give you what is called a "morals waiver", just so long as it is in the past. They cannot touch you if there are still unresolved legal issues to deal with.
