Becoming a nurse with 2 misdemeanor charges?
I am 22 years old and have one misdemeanor possesion of marijuana charge and one misdemeanor DUI charge. I went through some rough times but have myself on the right track now and am looking into becoming an RN. Is this possible with these two charges?

That is very questionable especially with the possession charge. You may want to ask the board of nursing in your state for information.
I agree with the other response, ask at the nursing office at the school you want to apply because, at least at my school, we are required to do a background check.

It’s possible, but expect a lengthy explanation/investigation process and you might be placed on probation for a period of time if they suspect addiction.
