He should ask to be put in drug and alcohol treatment. If he has 2 DUI and an under the influence of pot, he needs it.
2 DUI’s at age 19 will most likely end up with some jail time, heavy fines, and loss of license until your friend reaches the age of 21.
Additionally court mandated alcohol treatment will be ordered. This will include classes and mandatory attendance at AA.
Your friend needs to quit drinking before he kills himself or someone else.
for the first DUI it would have been DUI classes, fee of around 300-400 plus community service to pay the rest. for the first time DUI underage dmv would suspend lic for one year.
on the second one I have no idea since he didnt violate probation or anything but still. dont get a third fourth is FELONY in CA
