I live in california stay in riverside county and got stoped originally for not having the licence plate lights. then it evolved to me going to jail for a DUI with a BAC of .017 and smoking a lil bit of weed. i am underage so i dnt know what the outcome will be. they also found 1 gram of marijuana in my car.i coaporated with the cops and everything.
You might have to go to drug court classes for so many months. good luck though that sucks
What state do you live in. Some states only give you a small fine for marijuana, while others send you to jail. So you need to tell us what state you’re in.
Okay, here’s what’s going to happen. For the marijuana, you’ll just be fined 100 dollars. There’s no jail time. I don’t know why you got a DUI, since you were under the legal limit. Maybe because you’re underage? I’m not sure.
Anyway, here’s what can happen with the DUI. Remember that the outcome can vary, and they might go easy on you because you had a low blood alcohol content. But you can get 2 days to 6 months in jail. You can be fined 390-1000 dollars. Your license gets suspended for a year, since you’re under 21. You have to go to DUI school for 3-6 months. You’ll get informal probation for 3 years- that means no probation officer. Expect to get the lower side of the penalties, because you had a low BAC.
Looks like you’re going to have to pay a fine that might cost you a few paychecks. You won’t be driving for a year, you’ll be on 3 years of informal probation, 3-6 months of DUI school(expect to get around 3 months, but nothing is set in stone), and you’ll spend 2 days to 6 months in jail(expect to get around a few days).
