An idiot friend of mine just got into an accident on the freeway, caused road damage, totaled his car, and got his second dui. No other cars were involved. But his cousin was the passenger and sustained minor injuries during the crash. The driver has full coverage on the policy but this is his second dui in california. Will the insurance company cover damages to the road and hospital bills incurred by his cousin? ambulance, pain &suffering etc.. or are they shit out of luck because they were both under the influence?
