autoinsurance.maclenet.com – check these plans. As I know their rates for bad driving record is not such expensive as from other companies.

i dont know about suspended. Just dont get pulled over. If you do get pulled over without your SR22 they will revoke your licence for one year in CA. I cant tell you to drive without it, so you shouldnt drive.

    Yes

Since you have been convicted of a dui, merely having a license for you is conditional and having sr 22 is one of those conditions. Your insurance company will notify DMV and eventually your license will be revoked unless you are pulled over first, then revoked.

The SR22 insurance is a condition of the reinstatement made by the state. No insurance…no license.

The insurance company is required by law to report to the DMV if your SR 22 insurance policy has canceled. The insurance company normally does this by sending out a form SR 26. My suggestion to you would be to call your current insurer and just get at least the state required liability insurance, because it sounds like at the amount of money that you’re paying you have full coverage on your vehicle. If you’re able to lower your coverages on the policy, you will be able to still keep the insurance and the SR 22 on file. Once your situation improves you can always call up the insurance company and add more coverages on. There are ways around this sometimes the companies will give a little bit of extra time to make the payments, but you should be able to get your bill reduced just by taking some of the coverages off. Don’t be afraid or shy to call your broker or company and ask them for some help in reducing your bill. I am sure they will help you

Yes, definitely worth trying some how to pay it, you license will suspend again and you will have to start over. ONE note, must companies don’t send out the SR26 notice until the policy cancels and passes the reinstatement date. Most policies can reinstatement from 10-30 days. Call your company and ask what your options are.
