Also, how do you move up the date of the court appearance? Mine is like a month away and I don't want to wait that long. I'm going to plead guilty anyway and I'm not getting a lawyer.

You can compare how the insurance quotes would change, for example here – autoinsurance.maclenet.com

Those charges will make your insurance go up, a lot. They will find out. If you are worried about your parents finding out, you are most likely too young to drink anyway. As far as I know you cannot move up a court date. They are first sentenced, first served. These fines will also be large, and may include jail time. Fess up to the parents. They will find out.

Oh, there will be a huge increase when you get a DUI and MIP. Now you get grouped in with all the problem drivers and that is how the premium is determined. Before this happened, you were likely included with good students and safe drivers. It depends on which state but sometimes the premiums are so high that you won’t even be able to drive. Very stupid mistake. You better tell your parents and see how they want to handle it. Sometimes getting a lawyer is the best idea to keep it off your record. Tell them. They will find out anyway and you will be in even more trouble.

your insurance going is going to be the least of your worries when you go to court there is a mandatory six months suspension of your license. you will have to attend driving school there will be large fines, and it is up to the judge but you could get jail time.and last but not least your insurance will go through the roof that is if they don’t cancel it on you.
