Whatever time the court told you when you were convicted. It varies depending on whether it’s a first offense. You can always look at your own record, and the DMV may have it listed there, so take a look. If not, contact the court and ask. Also, if you were represented by attorney, he might have that information.

Call the DMV and ask them how long they require it. Usually its 3 years.

On Assigned Risk Plan they only count a DUI for 3 years. However, a DUI stays on your record for 10 years.

Ususally an SR22 is only for 3 years.

CALL THE DMV AT 916-657-7780, YOU WILL PROBABLY GET A BUSY SIGNAL ON THE FIRST TRY (THE SECRET TO THIS LINE IS TO KEEP HITTING THE REDIAL BUTTON UNTIL YOU GET INTO THE CUE). THE DMV OPERATORS ON THIS LINE ARE PRETTY INFORMATIVE AND EASY TO DEAL WITH. THEY WILL LET YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHEN YOU CAN GET THE SR22 ON YOUR POLICY. sORRY THIS IS ALL IN CAPS
