Transfering car title for cheaper insurance due to DUI?
I got a DUI last year. It is not over 0 a month for insurance. What consequences could happen if I transfered the title over to my boyfriends name, & he registered & got the insurance in his name. What would happen if i got pulled over while driving the car.. ? etc... thanks. dont tell me...

Ask your insurers but as far as I know he insures it your a named driver.
Same at our house, I’m a named idiot driver on her insurance and I’m a named idiot on my insurance.
Does this mean if I crash in to her car with mine or viceversa I can claim twince twice.com?
If you put your car in the name of another person, and continue to drive it, you would have to be named on the insurance policy to be able to legally drive it since your use wouldn’t be casual. Once you add your name to the policy, the DUI will show and the rates would be as high as leaving it in your own name.
If you think you can leave your name off and get cheaper rates, you can, but only if you don’t drive it. If you do, and there is a claim with you driving, insurance would consider it fraud and not cover you.
It is your record that raises the rates. If you go on anyone elses policy, the rate will still be higher. Not all companies will add another driver on a policy if the people involved do not live at the same address or are married.
