Should I get a Public Defender for 1st DUI?

1st DUI. Under Age (20 yrs old). .20 BAC. No insurance (driving a friends car). Failure to stop @ stop sign. Just plead guilty and get it over with? Or seek the help of a public defender? ...

    It is not up to you to get a public defender. The court will make the decision if you can prove that you can not afford an attorney. Because of the seriousness of the charge, you will need an attorney. The court will not allow you to defend yourself.

    You did it, plead guilty and get it over with. Why make the taxpayer pay even more for your stupidity?
