my dad’s DUI insurance is only $1000 for one year?

my dad got a dui and now is insurance is 500 for 6 months. can that be right? thats still cheaper than me and i have a clean record. before his insurance was only like 200 for 6 months. liability only

    If he’s only paying for liability, it can definitely be correct. I have full coverage after a DUI and pay around $2000 per year. However, when I was obtaining quotes (since I was kicked off my prior insurance), I found full coverage for around $1500 a year.
