If u get a dui in north carolina, how long is your insurance sky high?

i heard it was three years but does that count while your license is suspended? ive had my license taken from me for 1 1/2 so im hoping i only have to pay a high rate for another year and a half ...

    you are charged the points (12) for 3 yrs for insurance purposes. YIKES! :)

    Call your insurance company or meet with them in person if possible. Convince them that it won’t happen again and ask for lower rates.
