    My younger brother got one. We live in CT. He lost his license for 90 days and his insurance when us as well. He also had to attend drug and alcohol classes. It’s still on his record 3 years later. Best of luck to you!!!!

    It varies a lot from state to state. I hate to say this, but

    the more money you have to pay a good lawyer, the better

    your case will get. It is sad but true here in this supposedly

    "just" United States. Rich people get all the breaks.

    your ins will probably get canceled…you are in for a long ride sweets…you won’t need insurance becasue your licesne will get suspened…when you need it again it will be tons higher than before
    depending on state, age, BAC…you may be able to get it differed…but it will be on your recored FOREVER!

    It will be in your record for 10 years. Unlike criminal offenses it cannot be expunged (erased). Assuming it is your first offense and depending on the state in which you live, the penalties are different, up to 90 days in jail; license suspension of up to 12 months, insurance surcharges, court costs maybe you will have to attend driver improvement program. A lawyer can charge you up to $2,500. Try to get a telephone or free consultation before making a decision.

    Don’t do it again! Good luck

    this is 1 time i strongly suggest you contact an attorney for legal advice;

    i believe that depending on what state you live in, it will be on your drivers license record for 10 years; any insurance you will get will be very high due to your high risk since you had a DUI;
    most companies when you get new insurance or when it comes up for renewal, they will run your license to see if you have any points, so if so, they then can either choose to non renew you or charge a much higher premium;

    they could also suspend your license;

    as i said, contact an attorney; they can explain if there is anyway to reduce the charges or what steps you need to proceed;

    you got to also realize that in many companies, if you apply for a job they ask for your drivers license number so that they can then see what kind of record you have and could possilby lose a potential job due to this DUI;

    you need legal help; most attorneys will offer a free consultation; the cost maybe high, but your future may depend on this;

    good luck
