Yes…. the federal govt. requires something call an SR22 Bond. in other words a high risk bond to be able to get a license back after a dui. even if you are back out of suspension and no trouble. now an SR22 is not really insurance on a car. it is more like a insurance on you. once you have the bond (about $500 every 6 months) you can drive any car that is legal top drive. meaning if you borrow somones car it must be licensed and insured….
