I was convicted of a DUI and soon I'll be eligible for a resticted license. I have to have an ignition interlock device installed, and file an SR-22 with my insurance company (Anchor General Insurance). I have not told them yet as I am not yet eligible. I called and they said that they do accept people with DUIs. I am currently paying per month for full coverage. I'm male, 29 years old. How much can I expect my insurance cost to rise once I file the SR-22?

It is useless to ask here. The only people who can possibly know is your insurer

you are not going to like any of this not only are there steep fees for the interlock and monthly fees, you have to pay an insurance company to file an sr22 with the dmv every month. I suggest you start calling insurance companies NOW BEFORE YOURS DROPS YOU. BECAUSE IT WILL RAISE THE RATES JUST BY DROPPING YOU. BEAT THEM TOO THE PUNCH. you need to find an insurance company that will do the interlock thing and file the sr22 for you too, expect your car insurance to triple frankly, it would be 10 or 15 thousand dollars a year in your pocket just to quit driving. I hope you have started treatment, or will be soon, You have some life changing events going on that are not going to be easy. I hope you are sick and tired, of being sick and tired, Because that is the turning point and catalyst you need to successfully quite drinking. I suggest as many meetings as you can get too, one a day is best for a while in the beginning, but its on you, remember this about meetings, 99 percent of the meeting is going in one ear, and out the other, but one person, a man or woman, is going to say that one thing, you needed to hear, to keep you sober one more day. Good luck, its easy, but its not simple, and the first 30 days you are like a lost child in the wilderness. Ask for help from a higher power, keep that crap out of your body, read AA and your life will get better, I promise you. But you have to make that choice today, I WILL NOT DRINK WHEN YOU GET UP? OK? GOT IT? NOW GO DO ITZ!!!! NO EXCUSES.

I don’t know specifically about the insurance, it will probably at least double, maybe triple. However it’s often stated that a 1st time DUI in California will cost in the $10,000-12,000 range when all the costs are totaled.
