I got pulled over a couple of weeks ago for side swiping a bridge right in front of a cop. I got a ticket for reckless driving but also blew a .03 and the cop took away my license and starting july 3rd it will be suspended for one year. I didnt get a DUI just the reckless driving ticket but I have a temp license. I have to file for a SR22 and I dont know much about it. I'm under my parents insurance policy and i didnt tell them about the drinking part thinking i can i hide it from them. When filing for the SR22 will my parents find out about it. What will the insurancee company do?

you need to apply for non owners SR-22. Which means you can not have a car in your name nor can a car be in someones name that lives at the same address as you. That is the cheapest way to go.

With an SR22, you are now considered High Risk, and your parents insurance rates will go UP. You only THINK you can hide it. Once they find out, as you got your license suspended, and they may eventually talk to the cop, anyway, you are BUSTED, dude. Might as well own up now. It raised my friend’s auto insurance $2,000 a year alone, when he drove his Mom’s truck and overturned it. Took him about 7 years to finally get a better record, and lower rates. Wish ya luck, dude.

I too got a wreckless driving ticket. And i had no insurance. But i went to my insurance guy and got the SR22 and my insurance rates really weren’t effected to much. You are a high risk now, so don’t F up again. Your parents might now find out as long as your not a day late on your insurance payments. Good luck.
