Does DUI have to be reported auto insurance?

One of my friends has been still paying the same insurance premium he paid before DUI. He is so happy with that, but he just concerns any possible problems with an insurance company in the future. Is it a responsibility to report DUI to an insurance company? ...

    Yes, your supposed to. The insurance company will find out eventually though, so may as well get it over with and tell them. All they have to do is check his driving record and it’s over.

    sooner or later they will catch up due to drivers permanent record/as long as they dont ask///dont tell/dont lie if they ask

    Your friend is driving without insurance. He has invalidated it by not informing them. He should read his policy. It tells him there that he must inform them of any significant changes = DUI is significant.
    By the way when he does sort it out he might not be able to afford it.

    Typically no, however in some styless the court makes you get additional auto insurance to keep your drivers license.
