If you are using your own vehicle, then your driving record should not be an issue to the company. If you are driving a company vehicle, then your record will cause the company’s insurance cost to increase. The company can fire you, because driving a company vehicle is part of the job, and your driving record would cause you not to be allowed to do so.
If one of my employees is convicted of DUI (or develops a bad driving record from other things) they become ex-employees. I do not want a problem driver driving my vehicles.
