could be serious ..Here in Illinois the first carries at least a weekend in jail could be up to a week depending on what else they got you for…but your looking at least $1000 fine a suspension of license of at least 6 months and a much higher insurance premuim

any arrest after being placed on probation is a probation violation and the penalty will be that associated with a violation of probation (usually a pretty serious matter)

It should be death. People that drive drunk endanger the lives of others. In some countries they execute you first offense, and in Africa they commonly take you twenty miles into the wilderness and make you walk back in the sun. It’s too bad were so soft here.

Well, in California that is 2 strikes. Only one more before the State Pen rolls out the red carpet.

it generally depends on what your original probation was for — if it was in any way violent related, misdemeanor or not due to the plea bargaining process, the probation officer will probably revoke your probation and you’ll might serve the remainder of your original sentence and any jail time for the dui will be ran concurrent. probation officers become jaded rather quick and certain original crimes they’ll just say screw you. and of course it all depends on whether they’ve already given you any breaks or not.

you better get yourself signed up to a alcohol treatment program — an outpatient program is good enough. or you better somehow document your AA attendance. probation officers like not having to tell their probationers to do what should be common sense.

Count on jail time for both. Try and plea it down so the sentence serves concurrently with one another. Your probation officer might decide the punishment is sufficient but unless it involves jail I wouldn’t count on it.

Try not drinking and driving, look up the number of accidents that happen and think about the damage you could have done to someone else’s life.

Breaking it down in case you are not capable, what you did is selfish.

Guess you didn’t understand the conditions of your probation.

    Enjoy county jail…………..
