Is there a need to acquire attorney services to ensure I get this? I would like to just pay the fine, do my classes, serve the penalties and get on with life (and never drink and drive again.)

you can get a restrictede license, but it is much easier to do with the assistance from a lawyer.

In Oregon you have to request a DMV hearing within 10 days of the date of the incident to try to prevent license suspension.

In my personal opinion no one who has ever had even one DUI should EVER be allowed to drive again for ANY reason.

I doubt the first time you are caught is ever the first offense. That said, unless someone else was injured, I think you have a good chance of getting restricted driving privileges for going to work. An attorney can’t guarantee you will be allowed to drive to work, but they will increase your chances.
