Each state is different. Within each state, each judge is different. In my state the minimum is one year and the max is six years. More if someone is hurt.
If you can prove that you are involved in a treatment program, and attending AA meetings it would work in your favor, and you may get a suspended sentence, and probation.
This should prove to you that you are a "alcoholic", and probably have been for sometime.
In any case please take this advise and start attending meetings. You will find others there that are going through similar it not the same circumstances.
