Why was Khloe Kardashian jailed for her DUI a year later?

Is it California's strict law? Is it like that in most states? Are there different regulations or was hers a specific DUI? Thanks!

Because she failed to comply with the conditions of her original sentence.

Her original DUI conviction required her to do certain things. Mainly, she had to complete a State approved alcohol program, and do a certain number of CalTrans service hours. (Litter patrol)

She did neither, so off to jail she goes.

Because there are so many DUI arrests every day, that it can take the court that long to get around to one.

If it was you or me we would have went to jail right away

The spoiled little brat bought her way out of jail but could not live up to the conditions.

I say toss her in jail for a few months.

    Yes. She was jailed.

For 173 minutes. That’s less than three hours.

Wow. They are so strict out there in California. I hope *I* don’t have to go to jail for three hours.

Richard’s right, she violated her probation I don’t know if they’re saying why or not (could be a positive urine test or failure to show up for an appointment with her probation officer).

  6. Ben Weaver says:

She violated her probation and although the DUI was a year ago the violation of probation was recent. she was charged 2007 and had 3 years probation. So she went through violation of probation hearings and they sentenced her recently.

  7. Callie says:

I believe it said that she violated her parole.

  8. lawcontributor says:

She went to jail because she violated her probation stemming from a 2007 drunken driving arrest. If you need more information about DUI, you can check: http://www.drunkdrivinglawyers.com
Looks like getting a DUI is the way Hollywood stars are using to get attention from the media.
