DUI’s are actually pretty hard to beat in court.
Very few people "get out of them" anywhere. Almost everyone takes a plea deal, at least in my experience.
I agree w/ Citicop–a good lawyer might get her charge reduced (to reckless driving for instance), but to actually have the charge dropped or to win an acquittal would be difficult even for an attorney who specializes in DUI defense.
