What are DUI laws in DC and Virginia?

Is it true that you can get arrested for DUI in DC after you have one alcoholic drink and then drive?

    Fine – $300 to $1000
    License Suspended – 6 months

    Va

    Jail – 5 day min for passenger under 18 or BAC over .15
    Fine $250 min – $500 to $1000 for passenger under 18
    License Suspension – 1 yr
    May be ordered Ignition Interlock Device

    The legal limit nationwide is .08%.

    One "Standard Drink" (Bottle of beer, 5 oz glass of wine, shot of liquor) will raise the average person’s BAC by .02%.

    The average person eliminates .02% alcohol per hour.

    This means that in order to hit the limit, you would have to drink more than four "standard drinks" in one hour.
