Better buy stock in KY. You will be needing it so you might as well profit from their increased sales.
Most people learn not to drink and drive after the 1st DUI or at least the 2nd.
Jail time of at least a year & maybe even prison.
I can’t believe they think you have a problem with driving under the influence…it sounds like you’re getting pretty good at it.
Hmm…
just remember to never pickup the soap off the floor when it falls on the floor.
That’s golden advice.
Whatever it is you deserve it. Grow up and quit drinking and driving and putting innocent peoples lives at stake.
Stop drinking and driving why didn’t you learn your lesson the first time.
Depending on the state you live in, but you are looking at losing your driving privileges for an extended time. Also. you will lose your ability to buy car insurance.
The good news is that you will see some jail time and be off the road so adult people can feel safe.
I’m just assuming that your looking for an easy out or some sympathy ……………. GOOD LUCK!
mandatory 3-6 months in jail, depending on your lawyer…10 years loss of license..and an outrageous fine. my father was just sentenced for his 3rd. he was supposed to do 6 months in jail but his lawyer got it down to 3. he wasn’t even drunk. he was just over the illegal limit.
They should put you away because you are a menace to everyone who drives on the same road. You will get at least a year but it may be even more.
No preaching, no judgment…facts: It depends on your state. You MUST have an attorney or you will end up with a longer jail sentence. I can only tell you what I have witnessed in my state (I’m a paralegal for a criminal defense attorney). On the 3rd in 10 years, the guidelines state 1 year in jail maximum. I have never witnessed anyone do a year in jail. You are generally sentenced to a couple of weekends in jail and the rest on house arrest. However, the sentence will usually be stayed and if you do not complete probationary terms or do something to invalidate the sentence guidelines, you will spend 6 months in jail on good time, or 12 on work release. Probationary terms usually require treatment, random alcohol testing, checking into a probation center, AA attendance, victim impact panel and other misc. requirements. I do live in a state that isn’t as harsh on the criminal side as some. However, the civil penalties (driver’s license, car forfeiture) are stiff.
