  1. Preston L says:

    1. The Bible instructs believers to obey the law of the land which would include DUI laws.
    2. The Bible says to live above reproach.
    3. Be good stewards of what God has given us, including our bodies.
    4. To pollute or harm our bodies is to desecrate the House of God (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)
5, the Bible teaches us that “denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world” (Titus 2:12)

You make the point that DUI is an offense against "man’s laws" but the Bible’s instructions is on any substance whether legal or not.

I bet God would want someone who’s DUI punished harshly. Personally, I think people who drive drunk should be taken out back and beaten. I hope God would feel the same way.

God’s law says you should not over indulge! I think it is very much different! Man’s law convicts you in most cases before you commit a crime! I drink at home, or walk down town, but now we have laws that they can rape us for public intoxication!
