It will lower your chances compared to other people applying but it is still possible just try to make yourself look like an outstanding citizen and the DUI wont matter. Try applying nothing ses you cant

The only nice cops i know of are dead ones
having dui or even a drug history wont prevent you from being a cop, just be sure you always are honest when in the application process if they ask you about offenses or doing anything illeagal always tell the truth, if they catch you in a lie then you will not pass but they will accept you if your honest
Well having a DUI wont stop you from applying, however the issue may be raised and could prevent you from joining but I wish you luck.
