how long does it take in the state of WV. for 1st. defense DUI to drop off your record ?

a friend of mine got a DUI aprx. 9yrs. ago. she got another DUI aprx. 4 to 5 weeks ago. will her 1st defense still be on her record ? I need to know how long before it drops off your record, the police charged her with 2nd. defense DUI. if any one knows the law please let me know ...

   12 years for enhancements (OWI 1st, 2nd, 3rd) it stays on your criminal history until it is expunged. (forever unless removed through court action)

   Courts do not destroy their records. Ever. If she gets a third DUI in 50 years, that court will learn of the first two.
