I know i was wrong to do so, but the officer did not give me any leeway even though I passed the visual test but breathed .002 over the limit. (I had one beer, really.) If you had been drinking and driving then just man the hell up and take it like a man. You willing endanged everyone else on the road, so you should just count your blessings that you didn’t kill someone.
Well he said he was wrong to drive under the influence so i think he knows that he could’ve gotten into more trouble, such as killing someone. If you have yourself a good lawyer, then he/she will be able to dismiss or at least reduce the charges if in fact you were above the limit by as much as you specified.
