I just received a citation for driving under the influence about an hour South of Seattle,WA. I know i was wrong to do so, but the officer did not give me any leeway even though I passed the visual test but breathed .002 over the limit. (I had one beer, really.) So i'm thinking i need a good lawyer. Where is the best lawyer, attorney or whatever law firm I need to beat this bogus case? are there any recommended dui lawyers in Seattle or washington?
autoinsurance.maclenet.com – check these plans. As I know their rates for bad driving record is not such expensive as from other companies.
Blowing a .002 in Washington dosent get you a deewee. What else was going on? Perhaps a minor?
If you had been drinking and driving then just man the hell up and take it like a man. You willing endanged everyone else on the road, so you should just count your blessings that you didn’t kill someone.
Well he said he was wrong to drive under the influence so i think he knows that he could’ve gotten into more trouble, such as killing someone. If you have yourself a good lawyer, then he/she will be able to dismiss or at least reduce the charges if in fact you were above the limit by as much as you specified.
A good defense lawyer in a dui case will no doubt try to seek what is called a ‘pretrial diversion’. This is basically something the court gives first time offenders (typically) as a way to avoid . This is however, a guilty charge, however much reduced and may go against your criminal record. In washington state, your dui has also probably been reported to the Washington state department of vehicle licensing. they may have already taken action against your privilege to a license.
You need to find an experienced lawyer in your case that is familiar with Washington DUI laws. Here is a good resource to find a lawyer or attorney specific to your state and citation.
