does nc law count dui by date occured- or date convicted for time span?

law states if you get 2 in 7 years; etc- what date are they actually judging it by?Occurance or conviction date.

    From the time of conviction, unless the judge says the convict gets time off for the time served while waiting for the trial. The requirement for this is sitting in jail and not being out on bail; however it is up to the judge to decide if it should count against the prison term or not.

    Conviction. In this country you have not done something wrong until you have been convicted.
