    Yes but they are considering calling it the "Paris" DUI law now – to show they don’t take no crap from no one

    You lose your license and go to prison where I come from. So, yeah, they’re somewhat strict.

    Yes, pretty much….even on the back country roads the drunks used to take all the time because the most trouble they could see was a tree or a ditch maybe….anyway even out on those roads the RCMP have put up signs (BIG signs) that say…"we’re even out here" and "we’re watching you…even out here". And they are….lots of roadblocks etc. people are pretty dumb to drive drunk or high here. (British Columbia)
